The Kingfisher design by Kruger Theron Architects in collaboration with Hildi&Co designers was developed with the specific setting mind. The concept is single structure as a rural barn but with a contemporary twist.
The barn houses two en-suite bedrooms , one at each end. The middle of the barn accommodates the lobby, living area and open plan kitchen all integrated into one flowing outside/inside space. The barns are North facing with ample light and an abundance of green Fynbos on your doorstep. The patio area forms an integral part of the singular barn with a signature fireplace/braai area under roof.
A free standing covered parking area accommodates a storage facility for all those holiday toys.
Whites, soft grey and Earth tones. The entire home is influenced by shades of white and natural elements. The design optimizes light and views. Floors are finished in corcoleumand natural stone.
